毛里求斯的节奏王国——努奇拉(Noukilla) Noukilla乐团的5个人来自毛里求斯，2005年他们第一次到访上海，与不同乐队演出的同时，也参与了录音工作。如今，上海已经成为了他们远离故土的另一个家园。 对音乐无限的热爱，促使了Noukilla的诞生，2010他们带来了毛里求斯当地的世嘉音乐，和煦、异域、多彩、温暖、快乐，这些词语都不足以用来形容他们的表演。Noukilla乐团多元的种族和文化背景，使得他们的歌词同样丰富多彩。 Noukilla乐团拥有很强的舞台表现力，他们似乎天生就有让人微笑的魔力。这些毛里求斯音乐大使受邀参加过许多演出，如上海爵士音乐节、上海民间艺术节、上海世界音乐季、上海世博会、F1赛车、ATP网球大师赛。 现在，这只乐队正在筹备他们首张录音专辑的发布。 Noukilla are five friends from the Island of Mauritius, who came to Shanghai/China in 2005.While playing cover songs with different bands in the city and working as session musicians at the same time, they regularly came together to play tunes from their far away home. Their unconditional love for music led to the birth of Noukilla (meaning ‘We are here!’) n 2010,bringing original songs and their own style of Sega/Seggae-Fusion to the fans, who find words like “sunny, exotic, colorful, warm, happy, energetic, good mood” to describe the band. Noukilla has a very strong stage presence and a gift to put smiles on people’s faces. Among other performances the “Mauritian music ambassadors” got invited to festivals like the JZ Festival in Shanghai, Shanghai Art & Folk Festival, World Music Festival Shanghai, and was also performed during World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, at F1 and the ATP Tennis Masters. The mixture of their different ethnicities and backgrounds (African/Indian/British/French) reflects in their music with lyrics in Creole, French and English. Right now the band is preparing their first official release. |
